Congratulations to our under 12s on reaching the final of the Watford Friendly League Spring Cup. Their appearance in this seasons final came courtesy of a 3-0 win against London Maccabi Lions Blue on Tuesday evening in the semi final at the Met Police Bushey Sports Club.

Our under 12s extended their unbeaten run to 6 games with a hard fought 0-0 draw at home to an excellent Sun Postal Yellow side on Sunday 1st April. Defence has been the highlight during this fine run of form, conceding just 2 goals in 360 minutes of football.

u9s Tigers wrap up their league campaign

The Tigers finished their first full league season in the Purple division with an emphatic 5-2 victory against Alexandra Park West on Sunday 11th March, which for a few hours moved them up to 3rd place before results came in putting them back in their confirmed finishing place of 5th.

u9s Panthers roar into County Cup last 16

The u9s Panthers secured a dramatic victory over Bedwell Rangers in the 4th round of the Hertfordshire County Challenge Cup, after a 3-3 draw took the tie to penalties. Alfie Strong was the hero netting the winning spot kick to send the Panthers into the last 16 of the competition.

Eagles bounce back with 5-0 win

They say there is nothing more dangerous than a wounded animal. Perhaps the same maxim should apply to football teams. A week ago the u10s Eagles were licking their wounds. A 7-0 defeat at home was hard for all of us involved to stomach. So the boys and management team were determined to bounce back with a good performance away to Finchley Revolution Purple.

The u9s Panthers were full of confidence on the back of a good win last week and a Premier League scalp in the last round but were also well aware of the danger posed by Division 2 leaders, Alexandra Park North. With Alfie on crutches and Morgan resting, it was still a strong starting line up of Joe, Zaki, Jack (C), Joel, Kai, Jake and Harry with James and Sulaiman warming the bench (or playing with Alfie’s Moshi Monsters!)
